Though I have the 17-35AFS, replacing it with this new 18-35 AND getting something like the Samyang 14/2.8 might make sense now.

Hate to lose the 1mm on the wide end, but if it performs well then it may be worth it.

I thought I had all but decided on getting the Tokina 16-28 despite the bulk and not easily being able to use filters -- but now that this lens is out, if its about the same performance wise at ~f/8- f/11 its on the top of my list. Adding a Samyang for super wide would be a very cost effective and relatively light solution. I'm looking forward to some reviews!
