Those are some cool rocks they have there. The motion in the water adds a nice detail to this one. Nice work.

Hey Helen,

Nice photo. It has a very calm feel too it. I think the wave action is nice too and i like how all the lines of the water draw the viewers eyes back out to the ocean.

Do you live in South Africa now

No, I still live in Holland. I went to SA to visit my mother. While there I went to the beach every morning and evening to shoot.

Very nice image! It is restful as the water recedes. Yet we know the force of waves will be back! The muted colors add to the feeling of calm. Thanks!

egads!! That is just gorgeous! I agree with Steve - the muted colors and almost shimmery sand against the dark rocks are beautiful.
