I had the pleasure of photographing a new senior this past week who is an acclaimed guitarist. He just won an international award, and will be featured on NPR in about a month. If you can rock a white suit as a teenager, I think thats pretty rad.
Sweet, Spencer! The first one is just a killer shot. Love No. 10 as well, and the guitar shots. Like them all, but those are my faves. Great job! I'd hate to be a Senior Portrait photographer in Tucson going against you.
My favorites are #1 and #3 by far (very nice lighting and setup) ... personally not a fan of #2 or the white suits shots - with exception perhaps of #10 but I think the chin should not have been out of the DOF in this frame.
Love the use of ambient light on #2. I normally stray from partial ambient (blotchy) light, but good subject placement here nails it I think, especially with the green wall color.
Great shots. I doubt he rocks that much playing nylon strings, but he seems to have a confidence beyond his years. I just hope he doesn't try playing too fast like so many young musicians.
Don Johnson is baack. Great article and photos of him in the latest Rolling Stone.

This wasn't his guitar, just a random one He brought one and the bridge broke as he pulled it out of the case...humidity change. His performance one is in a climate controlled case and doesn't take it out much.
