Quite true about the wind. Most ice fishermen today set up tents with propane heaters inside. This fisherman is preparing to do that after pulling his pop up tent on a sled to his fishing hole.

Is he sure he's on the ice? He looks like he's in a field . . . and it is tough to catch walleyes in a field.

A hazy but a very nice shot. Gives a snowy feel. I love the bit of color on the wooden fence.

I live in similar climate and rural scene and shots like this are so difficult to capture

Very nice! I just love the touch of color in the fence. I also liked that you stepped back and included the environment, instead of just having a close shot of the fisherman.
