Every time I do a "Save as", the default file type and location remain unchanged, and I have to select a file type and navigate to a target folder. Do you know if there's a parameter that can be set to tell Photoshop to default to the last used file type and location?

Ah - didn't know it mattered: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

I asked because I know that on the Mac, there is a neat add-on app called 'Default Folder' that does exactly what you want. I don't think that kind of functionality is part of Win or Photoshop.
