p.1 #1 · Rescuing a from the card?

Ok, So i deleted an image by mistake...during the wedding. I reshot the image...but i still prefer the one i deleted. What do you suggest is the most efficient way(software) to rescue it? I am on a mac and use Mountain Lion.

It's a little clunky, but it's free. I just used it, and compared it to a few trial versions of other recovery software, and it recovered everything that they did and a few more...

If you deleted it and shot more on that card, most likely the image is gone. If not, you can most likely recover the file

A device called Hyperdrive can
recover pix if card has not been
completed filled up subsequently.

Good luck. I never delete in-camera for this very reason. I've got plenty of space and no reason not to wait to remove files from the batch in Lightroom.

Never delete in camera. It can cause the card to corrupt.
