Anyone ever use one of these? I'd love to hear stories about how amazing an experience it was, and how if you got a clean, and sharp shot, you could print 100" wide no problem! lol....
They are both seriously cool. I collect old camera gear, but stay older than 1960 (I especially favor pre-Civil War.) I would buy this Kodak if it was more reasonable. It's a key piece of photo history.
When these were still somewhat current, a lady photog here offered her used kit to me for $1000. A price that I thought was outrageous. I never really considered it.

Yes, there is always the "hot camera" that gets raved about on message boards. They come and go. As for what I, a collector, would pay. Hmm. I'm thinking $600. It is cool, but I have to wonder if it will still be working twenty years from, when batteries for it might not be available. The last camera I bought, a 1928 Bergheil, will certainly still be working.
