p.1 #1 · Cycling - 1st crit of the season - So Cal/Ontario
The season just kicked off last weekend here in So Cal. I wasn't there real early in the morning, but the announcer said the Cat5's that raced at 7am had their water bottles freeze up on them.

Love the photos! Very nice job. Could you tell us about your gear, settings, and flash (if any).
Thanks Yoshidude.
All the shots were taken with a 5D Mark3. Gear: Canon 8-15mm, Canon 24-70mm, Canon 300mm & Canon 600ex flash.
Exif:
On the panning shots, the 600ex flash was used and I dialed in power +/- depending on the shot.

2) ISO 160; 15mm; f/4; 1/3200
3) ISO 160; 24mm; f/7.1; 1/160
4) ISO 100; 27mm; f/11; 1/160

Great shots! And I must say, your watermark actually adds to the photos instead of the more usual opposite.

I was finally able to get a decent watermark together in the off-season. I'm happy with the look and I appreciate the feedback.
I dont know how you guys do the training in the basement. I just take a day off the bike if it rains / is too cold. One of the perks of living in So Cal...riding year round. I plan to start racing in the next couple of weeks...cant wait!

very nice, what @ian408 said...there was one day last week where it was warmer on the top of Mt. Washington (New Hampshire) than in Southern Cal...very odd.

Thanks Chris.
We just went through a cold spell here in SoCal last week. Fortunately, we're back to normally scheduled forecasts this week with temps back to the mid 70's.
