Yes indeed, these are classic Socrate shots, they have your fingerprints all over them and that is a very good thing!! These bring me back to my early days on this forum when I would look at your work and think of how beautiful your work. That hasn't changed one bit, excellent as always my friend
Nice set of shots. Is it just me or does the 7D with the TC look sharper than the 1d4 with the TC? I assume you are using a 500mm with 1.4. I know what you mean about tone breaks after upload. I do not see them in my originals either. I do not notice it in your shots though.
Everytime you post I feel I have taken two steps backward, you make it look easy Socrate
Ok, I will admit I am not the greatest fan of super close head shots, it just doesn't have the feel overall that I really like but I can certainly respect the accuracy in recording and presenting these images and yours have that special 'portal to the soul' so well opened to enjoy
So #2 is just super sweet in my eyes Socrate, character, color, light, pose and enough environment to make it a treat as if I had walked up on this offering in the woods. Nothing easy about making that yellow look that good, this one is special and WB is top notch as is the presentation.
#3 also is just right, nice balance in the eye to grab attention but not to overpower the image, I like the pose too, excellent image again sir!
Of the tight shots #5 is my pick, I like how the bird presented itself and this is just crazy with sweet detail and nice lighting, wonderful I say
OK, back to the drawing board again for me.............
