There is one challenge when exploring the canyons in Death Valley, your backpack needs to get thrown 0 - 100 ft at times

Kind of makes it a challenge. I haven't done a canyoneering trip yet where photography was the main goal. It's always been a rush to beat the daylight disappearing in the shorter and cooler days.

Derek, yeah it's a long one. The dune field is pretty small there.

Beautiful view in #1 Steve and a nice remnant you found. Canyoneering sounds like a fun and a great way to get to those less traveled areas.
