As Jim said to me, it's really cool when the sky goes nuts.
imho, this does not do the actual scene justice. I had to be really careful with the red channel, as you might imagine. I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Oh, and I discovered a neat little surprise when I opened it up on the computer.....a small flight of geese flying through the scene.
Yeah, this looks even cooler than it did on my iphone! You sure had a sunset that went nuts on you! It's a great thing that you were there and ready to capture it.

I really like the colours, but something looks a little off to me. Is this a single image or do you have 2 layers/images overlapping eachother? Everything in the water and clouds looks like it is doubled, and the flying geese only look of be at around 50% opacity. Maybe its just mother nature playing tricks on me though.
Single shot, Mr. Grimm. The sky was really convoluted and crazy, and the geese were caught with the longish exposure so they're motion blurred. I wish I had seen them when shooting, I might have got a faster exposure just for them.
