p.1 #1 · Zion - Classic shot

Well, when your in Zion as I was for the first time, you just have to go and shoot one of the classic locations. This time with around 40 other photographers! not enjoyable as such, but glad i got a shot even if its not new

two shot blend, single image cropped to a slight pano format.
5dmk2 Zeiss 35mm c/y lens at F11.

Nice image Simon. It is an extremely popular location, and when I was there, I think there were more than 40 photogs out there during sunrise.

That is a classic, Simon. Wonderful light on the bg ridge, and the soft light in the shaded fg is perfect, imho.

It's certainly a classic shot for a reason. Those towers are very impressive, especially in the morning light. It was great getting to meet you in Zion. Hopefully that'll be just the first of many trips.

It's a wonderful image. There were only 6 other photographers when I was there.
