I have two different reactions, Tom:
1. Your image is excellent, with great composition, balance, exposure and processing.
2. Sometimes reconstructions of old things are too good (imo), and take away some of the ruggedness I would like to associate with it- especially with an old military fort.

Charlie - thanks. the fort is heavily visited (and guarded!); there is constant work or restoring of rooms. hence the place is actually kept clean all the time.

thanks, Ray. the fort is loaded with hallways, arches, alcoves, stairs that I can shoot for hours.
most of all, the soft light makes it a B&W haven.
