They are stylized to go with a retro look. However I agree--it was something that was planned by the makeup artist and model, so not really something I was in control of.

you should inform the model (and MUA) that feedback you have received form working pros suggests that the eyebrows are a train wreck (say it nicer than that).

When I first saw it I thought, why didn't they knock those caterpillars off her forehead. Almost looks like they had just shaved off her unibrow right before the shoot. Not sure what the mua was trying to get across with that look but very distracting from an otherwisenice set of images. Good work on your part.
I would say for a really strong head shot, you need to be shooting tighter and including more to camera right of her head. Her chest is distracting, especially that part under her arm where I can see her hair folicles. I shouldn't be seeing that in a head shot. Keep it tighter, include less of her chest.
And, man, she's really caking on the makeup, isn't she??
