Does anyone know of a solid arca swiss plate that mates well with the Nex 7 and doesn't wobble....besides the RRS plate?
Have the Sirui G-20 and the CF Sirui T-1205x tripod are they are both very solid. The only place where there is movement is the plate and the Nex 7 camera body (which is narrow).
If anybody has found a solution, I would be interested in hearing about it.
I have this, quite solid. The heaviest lens I have used with this plate is around 500gr. Definitely you don't want to go any higher. However, I have an adjustable QR clamp so I'm not sure if it would have the standard Arca dimension. I know that Arca QR plate from different brands do have a slight dimensional deviation from each other.
I also have the SunwayFoto L Plate on Nex7 and have to say I hate it all kinds of wobble was thinking of Velcro between plate and camera bottom but think I'll opt for an RRS L plate I noticed Jim's L Plates are out of stock
Ha! I tried a paperclip. Definitely not the way I want to go with a $700 camera. The RRS group makes good products and I have heard really good things about Jim's plate.

It's entirely possible you are predicting the future , but I still have L-plates in stock and another run order at the shop.
