1) Laguna Torre - After 9 days with no morning glow on the main peaks (Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy) it finally came at Laguna Torre and it continued the next two mornings. A great way to end the trip! Laguna Torre by Lukas Wenger Photography, on Flickr
2) Laguna Sucia - This was taken durning a midday scouting trip. Normally I don't shoot at this time of day, but I hadn't seen Fitz Roy in so long I figured I'd better take advantage of the opportunity. Laguna Sucia by Lukas Wenger Photography, on Flickr
3) Laguna Torre - We got a little bit of unexpected morning light on our second morning backpacking, but unfortunately most of the peaks weren't visible. Laguna Torre by Lukas Wenger Photography, on Flickr
Beautiful shots! I think #2 is my favorite of this set. Man those are some crazy mountains, can't imagine they'll look like that much longer (in a geological time sense, that is)
It's a shame so many landscape artists don't shoot more during the day. As nice as early morning / late evening light is, there are many opportunities for amazing photos during mid day too as evidenced by your 2nd shot - my favorite of the bunch!

Thank you for the responses everyone! #2 got the best response elsewhere too. I guess the people have spoken! I'm a light snob. I rarely shoot during midday. One of my photography resolutions this year is to go out during the day in search of some keepers. I'm sure there's plenty I've been missing.
