Maybe tone down the outer glow a bit. I'm not a fan of outer glow to begin with, other than black, but my feeling with this is it's too overpowering. Makes the player look nuclear.
I think the lights are too overpowering and distracting for this poster. I think the glow is too much also, it looks like she is radioactive. I have no experience with a poster like this and these comments are just my 2 cents, so I hope some of the experts can give more constructive critique and suggestions.
Don't mind the lights. Agree on toning down the outer glow. Two other minor nits. 1) match the color of the yellow in Wayzata to the yellow in her jersey 2) either lose the school logo above the Y in her name or make it much more prominent.
I know those weren't things you asked about -- but just my $0.02 worth.
