Yesterday, I passed 100,000 views on Flickr. Shooting part time, this is a major accomplishment for me and in honor of this lets see every ones top 5 most viewed people portraits.

Very nice portraits! Congrats on the milestone.
I use Flickr but have never really figured out, or tried to figure it out, how it works. I'm always a little bit surprised when I see that anyone has viewed my pictures, like: how did they find the pic? Totally Clueless with Flickr.

+1. A colleague came up to me recently after he realised I was a photog in my spare time and proceeded to show me his Flickr account. It was neatly organised into albums, with easy to locate photo groups etc and looked really neat. Almost like a website in it ownright for his photography. I have absolutely no idea how to achieve that. Flickr so far is proving a mystery to me.

I have an account but don't use it. I have my own Site and gallery as well as Facebook. So haven't really paid flickr any time. Might try out again one day.
Nice pics by the way. .. The boxer for me is the top pic.

i love sfr002's picture number 1. The silhouette of the boy and girl is amazing but I think it is a bit too yellow and the sky doesn't do much. It looks very unoriginal. Maybe add a little gradient or an effect.

100K views? Wow. I'm not even at 7000 views. Haha. I'm just a Dad that likes taking shots of his kids etc... I haven't been shooting much lately but one of my New Year's resolutions is to get more active with the camera. There's some really great shots here. Here's my most viewed top 5.
1) I'm not sure if this is a big deal or not as I don't know much about Flickr but this shot made Explore.
3) My sister-in-law wanted a sunset engagement photo so this is what we got. We got there a little late so the sunset wasn't the best. Plus the flash is pretty strong. But heh, I'm just a rookie and she was happy so that's all that matters. They got what they paid for. Free. Haha.
4) My daughter and I are starting to come up with some silly photo ideas. I'm not very creative so I kind of steal/borrow ideas from others. Well, I like to think I am inspired by others more than stealing their actual ideas. I figure whatever gets me using the camera and having fun with my kids is all that matters in the end.
5) Silly self portrait with my daughter. Again, a crazy storm was coming and the sky looked really cool. Took this at the cottage. I used two off-camera flashes and umbrella's to balance the ambient.
