Difficult to pick - - but after much consideration I'm going with #1.
Baby framed by mom - - but in 2 you've cut the feet & I don't like the cut as it is. Love the photo, but I'd not framed it like that.... I don't like cut off legs/feet...

One more for the "frame." Thanks. About nr two, I will have to look back to see if i have another picture with the whole baby. It may be different or even better, although in this picture, the principal character is the big mama with her expression.

Both are definitely framing material. However, my vote goes to #1. I, as well as some others, like how the baby is framed by its mother. I do like the light better in #2, but that's not enough to stray my vote.

Well, I framed nr 2, all for the expression of the mother elephant.
More people disagree with me than the ones who go with me. That is art. It is personal.
I do see the point: the framing of the first is perfect. I took the picture and cropped it to the perfect comp But at the end I decided I like the mother's tenderness better.
