I've not officially run out of vacation (back to work tomorrow). I took a quick run out to Sabino Canyon yesterday to get a few last shots before I return to the real world. I focused on a familiar waterfall. Here are a few shots:
#1:
#2:
#3:
#4: (pools in the rocks just above the falls)
More shots from that days trip (and others) can be found in my Sabino Canyon gallery. As always, CC are greatly appreciated.
My favorite is the first, though I would like to see the 2nd in color. The B&W are nice and work well, but the color brings more in this instance I feel. Rick
I clicked on your Sabino Canyon link, and it just opened this thread in another window. Rats - I visited Sabino Canyon on my motorcycle a number of times in the 60s when I was stationed at Davis-Monthan, and I was hoping to see some pictures to remind me of back in the day...
Great shots. I really dig the forms and perspective in the last one. I didn't realize it was flowing. I may have to go for a walk up there and get some shots myself I always end up going up Blackett's Ridge and I'm too tired afterward to go check out the water.
