First time posting in this section! have been a long time lurker and love everyones work here, freds is crazy good as well
Shot this in Detroit oregon on the breutebush river. Was stupid cold! Accidentally got some of my breath on my front element and it froze immediately...that sucked!

Hey David,
This is a very cool shot, it's great to see you posting finally. I can feel for you with breathing on the lens, man I have done that before without thinking, only to immediately regret it...
The star trails are super, and I know some trees will lean along the banks, but a lot of the leaning of the trees seems to be from WA distortion. Have you tried correcting for that? If you did, would it mess up the star trails too much? I am thinking it might distort their patterns too much.

great observation! just took it into photoshop and tried grabbing the top left and right corners and stretching them outward, looked better but the lens i used def had some barrel distortion, it also didnt seem to mess with the trail, ill keep that in mind for the next star trail

Great shot, really top star trail photo.
I think the leaning trees are because of the angle of the lens rather than barrel distortion, happens whenever you point a lens way from horizontal, but more obvious on wa lenses.
