Just starting to discover the beauty of B&W's. C&C would be greatly appreciated. Also I just purchased "The Complete Guide to Black & White Digital Photography" by Michael Freeman. Any suggestion on books and editing software would be equally appreciated.
That is quite nice. Wonderful composition. I think you could play around with local areas of contrast, to make it look more uneven and add interest in some areas. That's a wonderful image with a lot of potential. Have fun exploring.
Agree, very nice composition. Would look good hanging on my wall. I might have chosen to crop just to the right of the leftmost pine but that's a personal thing. It looks great as is.

Thanks for the great compliment. I truly was a little nervous about posting my first B&W here. Especially after viewing all the great work that gets posted here.
