Really trying to work on my BIF's specifically. Pelican taken at Medard Park (state park). I was trying for the Snail Kites, but they weren't cooperating that morning. The Osprey & Ibis were taken at Circle B Reserve. C & C always welcomed!
Are you only firing flash on BIF? Those look very nice, nice details under wings and softer shadows. Sharpness looks great.
Osprey is a difficult one to get both darks and lights balanced out, sometimes simple reduction in contrast can help, or change black point setting in PP.
You did very good on these, Leon. Except for may be small hot spot in the Pelican shot the exposure looks very good. So do details and the color of the sky looks very pleasing> Well done!
