could do with your advice I have a 1Ds MKII that i'm going to sell, it doesn't have the Canon box but comes with cables, cd's, extra Canon battery, charger, strap, manual etc & has only 21,180 clicks on it, it's in superb condition............do you know a price point i should sell at? It's a UK camera but my friend is coming over from AZ on 12th January & returning home on the 21st Jan, he could ship it for me FedEX ground insured from AZ What do you think i should ask as most on here seem to have the box as well? Cheers
If you look at various places like Fixation and MPB you will see the selling price for Ds2 is in the £800-£900 region.
Aperture in London have one with 55k on it for £690 .
It comes down to how fast you want to sell it. A lot of 1ds2 on sale here. But look at the ad age to gain market desire. Don't forget the 5d2 has come down in price too.

My friend is a pro wedding photog & hated the 5d II, he said that the 1ds MKII & 5d MKII are like chalk & cheese, saying that, he adores his 5D MK3
I'll put it up for $950 inc shipping within the 48, sounds fare to me.
Martin: If I had the cash I'd be so tempted to save you and your friend the hassle .
I bet if you stuck it on gumtree for a local only (face to face) sale you'd clear £750 without much trouble (which I make in the region of $1200)
