Is that a parrot statement or do you have many real world photos (in which you need to lift the shadows by >2 stops) to back yourself?

:-) I shot with "compromise" bodies since I started to shoot and I guess I will go on doing that (even a 1DX would be a compromise for me). All of them did a great job.
And yes, High ISO performance is a big issue for my jobs and my private stile. Else I would still go 5D II, that was the best available body for the last 4.5 years (for me).
