Going back through my results this year, I think this one of a high school dancer at a national dance competition from last May might be my overall favorite. I shoot a lot of dance and see a lot of dancers. Every once in awhile I see someone whose stage presence is such that it appears that no one else is on stage. Cole is one of those dancers.

Steve, this is just sick! I don't remember seeing this one before, or maybe it just got lost in your huge portfolio of amazing dance shots!
What a year! Awesome vacations, a move from Ottawa Canada to southern Germany on board the Queen Mary 2. New friends, travel to many new places. And my son left home for Cambridge University.
I've chosen to post my favourite shot, not my best.
This thread has turned into exactly what I was hoping for. A display of brilliant talent, technical expertise, and sentiment. It's pretty cool to see what folks find and choose when looking for their 'best,' which of course means a little something different to everyone.
Hope you lurkers out their decide to post something to share with the group too. We know you are there...
