I've been using a popular album supplier for the past few years (I know many of you use them as well). Over all very happy, great customer service, good pricing. BUT, I've been running into more and more quality issues. Like this one, the lines on the panoramic spreads do not line up at all, and this happens on quite a few pages. Is it just me, am I too picky, or is this considered an acceptable variance?
If an album I order has ANY issues, we send it back. Our clients are spending way too much on these books to have to deal with any quality control issue
those are my sentiments exactly. the only issue this case is the timing, these were ordered as Christmas gifts and replacements won't be here in time. Frack!
Send the supplier a photo. Ask to start the remake of the album and allow the client to have it for the holiday knowing it will be re-printed and returned. Actually don't see why they would want it back.
If they don't go for the photo showing the issues then after the album is sent back and re-printed blast them in every blog you can find. Truth hurts sometimes if you forget about customer service.Their mistake is messing up someone gift so they should work with you to correct.
