I really like the look of 3, it really looks good compared to other posters I've seen with the same style. I like 1 as well, but I wish the cut out of the player took up a bit more of the frame, and maybe slide the name layer down to the player's waist. The color choices on all of these are really great.

I really like the "four square, movie poster and star designs". I am not crazy about the Double Image design because of the small image/negative space. Thanks for posting your designs. Really enjoy learning from them.

Jeff
I increased the opacity on the background image. Any better?

I don't like 1 and 2 and the last one. The rest are very nice. It might be helpful to number these somehow for feedback purposes. I'm envious of your creativity and skills.

OK. Since you're the first to not like the two and the last one, what don't you like and why? Also for the first?
Can't seem to add numbers to the caption. Keep getting an error message.

You have some mad skills. I like the number stars and the scope but the only thing I would change would be the stars right above the name. To me it is too much and competes with the stars in the background. Maybe a solid bar that has a gradient fade on both sides. I'm no expert just thinking out loud. Love the designs!

I like the technical and the remake of the first one. Seemed like the first one was just a tad too light. They all are great and I'm sure parents would have a tough time choosing!

I like #3 and #4. Did you create your own honeycomb pattern or find one somewhere? I have wanted to use something like that on a background for one of the web sites I have done.

In #1, I think the main image is too small. In #2, it is just a bit too much with all of the stars and it seems like they compete with the image for attention. In the last one, i don't get the background graphic.

I like and do a similar poster to the double image with desaturate photo or pencil sketch...for sports and powwow figures. Your remake was nice with clean lines as well. It bothers me a bit that there is no ground below his feet...a drop shadow or reflection or something to ground him a bit more. I also like the way the limbs in some pop out of the frame. (Sometimes what I do to ground the figure on white is add the text as a floor that lays down behind the figure...so the feet have something to stand on.
I also like the big numbers and the figure. I remember seeing baby images with blocks or numbers where the figure intermingles in a very interesting way with the text. This reminds me a bit of those great baby images. Just can't recall where I saw that.
