Actually ... they are doing this WITH your permission. Read the fine print of what you are agreeing to in writing in the terms (revised) and you'll see that it is clearly stated that you are giving your permission for them to do so. That is something that users of FB, etc. have agreed to in writing to allow FB to do ... and now it is being carried over to Instagram. This has been the case in FB's fine print for some time now.
