Nice looking E30. That body style is by far my favorite from the BMW herd. When my folks and I were stationed in Germany, my dad had a Alpina B6 3.5. The car was a beast. On paper it said that it had a top speed of 250km, but the reality was that if you turned off the rev-limiter, you could push it to about 285km before things got dicey. It would cruise the Autobahn at 230km for hours on end and not break a sweat. Was an amazing car. Wish I knew now back then and knew how bloody rare the car was (210 made, my dads was a very early VIN, he bought it in late '86) that I would have bought it off of him.

Thanks! The Alpina's are definitely a rare breed of Bimmers. That's too bad you didn't know what you know now back then. I can't wait to finish this project car and see how it used to look back in it's good days.
Yeah, the E30's are my favorite BMW. If I had disposible income, I would have one. I actually prefer the Alpina's over the M3's, but for the cost of them...I would stick with a 323i for a nice driver.
