I took my first stab at shoot cars this last weekend. My daughter's car was just detailed so I took it out at sunrise to try my hand. Here are a few of the shots. I'd appreciate any critiques/tips you can give me.
Shot #3 is the most interesting visually, the others, while technically good photographs blend in with the wall too much.
You could move the car farther away from the wall and shoot with a wider aperture to take the attention away from this particular background.
One other bit to keep in mind is that when framing or cropping automotive shots it's good to leave a little more room in front of the vehicle to give it a space to "drive" into visually, this add a strong sense of dynamism to the shot.

Love drag racing, but it is much more fun shooting them at night. Trying to get a shot without a media photog in it though is not fun!!
OUCH !,....I think I just cut myself on these.....
Jefferson, just awsome,...great work,....you've inspired me to see about attending the next 2 wheeled meeting near us....
In February were attending a 12hrs race , at Bathurst ,...sort of Australias, Nurburgring...Reports of lots of Audi R8's & Porsche 930's...
Were going to stay the whole night & try some night shots,...I want to get some long trailing Brakelight shots into one of the chicanes from 300kph.........apart from slow shutter speed n steady hands.....
Ive got a question for you guys,....particularly the guys who shoot cars & car interiors...
Ive got a car shoot to do & the owner wants some interior shots as well its a bit of a showcar ,
The roof lining is white, & the interior is mostly white...could I power down the 580EXII & use the roof lining as a big reflector I have a G Fong Cloud & a small diffuser as options.
Im shooting with the 7D , but may end up using the 1D4.
