I've gone through 5 or 6 models of Canon Bodies. alll bought from FM'ers all bought used- never an issue. Why pay premium price if you can get an equally great product at such a discount that has been critically tested by other photographers for you.

I usually try to use the full format and not to crop. Of course I have to, too. But regular not because there is something in the image I did not see because of the viewfinder restrictions. It still happens to often, that I do not hold the camera in horizontal level (I turn it to the right about 1.5-2 degrees), when shooting "action". I know this should have been under controll after 35 years of shooting, but it is still not often.
5d2 if you used it 90% in day light. To save money to upgrade lenses like others suggested, buying a mint used 5D2 ($1000-1200) or get a new 5d2 from Canon Loyalty Program (after 20% CLP OFF = $1400 plus tax)

I think it's easy, 6D,of course.
I've just ordered a 6D for my first FF body… improved noise, iso range and -3ev center focus point are big pluses for me. I already own a 17-40L and 24-105L so I'm okay for glass at the moment too.
