Newspaper today had an ad at local shop (Kenmore Camera) for D600 Kit with the 25-85 VR lens for $1999. Two days only and really got me thinking about going for it, but I expect we'll probably see D600 prices coming down before long anyway.
Same ad had D800 for $2700 I think as well - body only though pretty sure, so not as good of a deal.

Considering that the current rebates run until dec 15th should I understand that you can get 200 off the D800+ 200 off the 24-70 and so on.....? or D600 kit at 2000 +200 off 70-200/300 etc?
