Thank you so much. I've been at it for almost exactly one year now. Attended my first one in Aug 2015 and hardly shoot anything else since then. I tried just about every type of photography to that point and never warmed up 100% to anything in particular until rodeo. Having the time of my life!!!
Glad you're finally having fun at it! WOO HOO! (now I need to dig out the photos I shot a few weeks ago and still haven't looked at)

I always tell myself it will be a few days to look at the photos after a full weekend of shooting, but it never fails that I'm on the computer within minutes coming through the door and usually fall asleep within minutes.

As a newbie i would start with a picture in this never ending thread of 200 f2.
But i'm one of those who use to take time to travel all around. Especially the saharan desert ist a destination i often visited.
