You are right elorablue I'm testing some new ideas where i can with the models. I still do save images for them but after I'm testing somethink new. I began to use color filter to light backrounds .
I upload the image to my Flickr account, then grab the HTML link. Choose your desired file size, I use " Large" it will look something like "Http://........jpg" <--- this is all you need, delete the rest of the embeded code. Hope this helps

LoL.....Runway lighting is the crappiest lighting ever.
It depends which type of Fashion Shows.
The lighting is supposed to be uniform for some shows and in the old days, you had some helper walking around the runway with an A2ish 18% gray card to enable all cameras fix their lighting temp before the show starts.
This is going out of the window as the Fashion Designers are now Show Designers as well with all kind of lighting from fresnel marauding light beams to the use of backdrop huge screens changing light each few seconds depending on the clip being shown and of course gelled lights ad nauseum.
The base bet is to go for 3100k for Jpeg or AWB in case you are shooting RAW. The problem is that you have to shoot Jpeg as the pics have to fly the moment the show finishes and no time to massage the RAW's. This is of course after doing some beauty shots of the Fashion Designer being interviewed and shooting the pre show and the post show and the Details and BackStage.....etc.
Add to that, you have some smart asses who add an individual flash on a stand to get a catchlight and this throws all other cameras into a spin, add to that video cameras, add to that the pushing and shoving in the Photographer's pit and last but not least the new style is to add heavy super loud music with a terrible bass which makes the raised photo pit vibrate which means a higher shutter speed which means higher ISO..........all fun and the crapiest lighting ever.
If you can shoot under such conditions, you can shoot anywhere and anything
