UPS delivered my new-to-me Chubmeister 2.0!
First time out for me: Two HS Varsity field hockey goalkeepers pictured in goal after 2-0 win against previously undefeated cross-town rival and celebrating their undefeated conference season with a season record zero goals against. These two nationally ranked teammates have split halfs of every game for two seasons.

Very sweet lens!

I've booked a D4 for one week (I'll pick it up this coming Monday). So for the wedding next week, the 200/2 will be attached to the D4 all the time, from morning to night time (at the reception) as I won't use any flash.

For bird in flight, this 200/2 has incredible accuracy and speed to track the subject, even wide open on the D800 :

Ok, how about some votes, which shot do you like better, the vertical oriented shot or the horizontal?
D3X/200VR1 @ 7.1 aperture on both shots, 100 iso. Exposure times are 1/4 and 1/5th (vertical and horiz one)
