P.S. how about usage with TCs? better to stick to the TC 14E only (guess the vII should do, since it's not a super recent lens?) or even the TC 17E II and the TC 20E III are viable solutions? Any preference among the last two ?
With a TC 20E III shot from within the comforts of my living room, on a cold windy day
Finally nabbed a vI and I'm already deeply in love with it 😊 It is aesthetically in excellent conditions and optics look crystal clear to me, but it has the dreaded squeak (and I've asked a discount for that), so let's hope it will last quite a bit before dying in my arms.. 😁 It's every bit heavy as expected, but pretty much in line with my Sigma 300 F2.8. Will try also to see how it performs on Sony bodies through the Commlite adapter, although my expectations are pretty low in terms of AF.

Thank you, for now it doesn't seem to, but I had some old AF-S that squeaked for a pretty long time without breaking down, so I'm trying to remain optimistic..
For sure it's not a lens that, especially with the hood, doesn't attract attention, for sure better not use it in dodgy places, especially in these tough times..
Thank you, Covid .. for s..g up photoshoots, travel and life in general. I went from photoshoots with beautiful models, to taking photos of my girlfriend's cats.
