Svalbard is a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. Situated north of mainland Europe, it is about midway between continental Norway and the North Pole. The islands of the group range from 74° to 81° north latitude. The largest island is Spitsbergen, followed by Nordaustlandet and Edgeøya.
What you see in the image is an abandoned aerial tramway previously used for transporting coal. It was a rather windy and cold day.
Just playing around at home... unfortunately, didn't have any of Nisa's beautiful models for me to shoot, but I do feel my little buddy is handsome in his own right Photo was taken in a very dark room with just a small amount of filtered natural light coming in from the side. Loving the high (8000) iso capability of the Df shot at f2.
Every time the thought of selling this beast appears (Oh how I hate it's ego dynamics) I begin the self talk "bad thought go away...bad thought go away...bad thought go away". I then feel much better and relieved to still have this fantastic piece of glass.
