I just wanted to add that Larson makes a VERY nice 4x6 softbox. Very well made, extremely durable, and a very very nice light source. Well worth the price.

If Larson folded up like buff I'd get it but I can't keep it setup and 4x6 is too big to be setting up and tearing down for me

I use it on location all the time. Not a big deal really. Certainly worth it for the quality of light IMO.

When that Buff breaks because of all the setting up and tearing down, you'll wish you had bought the Larson.

just got the buff 30x60. Initial reaction is that the foldable configuration seems a bit flimsy on a softbox of this size. It works great on my 24x36 but on a box of this size I wonder how it will hold up? I'm also thinking that I actually would like the 48" width instead of 30"...I'm going to use it on a shoot tonight and see how it functions.

oops, first time I mounted the 30x60 softbox it fell off the einstein mount, knocking the frosted dome on the floor and shattering it to bits. Should have listened to the earlier posts about securing it with a threaded rod...
