Another shot from a year and a half ago that I had forgotten; stumbled across it and thought it might be worth working on. Looking East from a hill in Contra Costa county. It would be nice without the signs of civilization but it's the best I can do on the way to work! In any event, I think nature has the upper hand in this case. C&C welcome.

I agree about the heavy hand of "civilization," Phil-
But this is still a really likable image.

I like this.
The heavy hand is kind of taking a back seat to natures elements here.
The hills, trees & fog are still dominate

The manmade elements are at least evenly distributed throughout the scene. Their inclusion seems very intentional in this photo, so they add visual interest in my view.

The image is still quite powerful, Phil, and the natural elements of the scene dominate the man-made.

Beautiful image Phil. The heavier fog appears in two sections of the frame making the overall comp well balanced. The greens and muted colors creates a special mood. Thanks for sharing.

I like seeing the man made elements in it and I think that makes it a stronger image.

This is a great view. Something I will probably never see. I would clone out the little white spot at the very top middle edge of the image.
