Looks like my last football game of the season as UMHB plays in Ohio next week, after winning Saturday in Belton.
The day was warm, unseasonably warm for the 1st of December. It was windy and the clouds were coming and going rapidly. The football was one of force, man on man. It was a great game. Here are a few of my hi-lite shots.
1 The fans, not complete or in order yet, spelling UMHB, but solid fans.
2 Get him down, get him out of bounds, but stop him.
3 No pass interference, but no reception for Wesley (white). Great way to stop a touchdown.
4 A fumble - you can see he wants the ball back. Wesley recovered and earned 3 points on the turnover.
6 One tackler won't take him down, it'll take 2 or 3.
7 Remember the fumble, this is him flipping into the end zone for a retribution touchdown.
8 I moved from one side of the field to the other as the game was in the final sconds. Now I had different lighting but without time to change my settings, I took the shot. Yes it is blown out, but I like the action blur. Call it photogs choice.
They were about a minute away from the win and looking to run out the clock.
Thanks for the feedback. I wish we had more season left. As I say that the Cru is headed to Ohio where the shooters will be in near freezing temps. While that may be common for many of you, it was about 80 for this game. So I'd love to shoot more, but especially so down south.
