On Amazon the 24-105 is selling new for $920, a referb is selling for $735 on Canon's website ATM.
Just wait for a bit, there will be better deals once stock is REAL not just pre-order. Amazon had the body alone, via prime pre-order, listed at $2099 just last weekend.
They had it 17€ over MSPR two weeks ago but went down 1€ below the MSPR this week. All for preorders of course.
But your US Kit price sounds already very good, Jerry. It is $ 933 (!) less than the price of the only kit offer I saw here till now ($ 3631,72). Of course ours includes tax. But your offer including (our) tax would make $ 3211,81. Still $ 320 less. :-(
I bought a 5D Mark iii from them last night and I have a UPS shipping number from them already with a delivery date of next Tuesday. This is my first purchase from them but they are a Canon authorized dealer.
