See... we're asian. And like any regular asian, we like to hang around urbanized area. You know we like our malls, restaurants, shopping, more malls, more restaurants.
So when this cute little asian family told us that they want to do the photoshoot away from their highly urban hometown, I was kinda stumped. Huh don't they want to be within walking distance to the nearest Starbucks or Bubble Tea cafe?
"Well I know of this park with a wooden barn thing..." I suggested to mommy and daddy.
"Does it have open fields?" Daddy asked excited.
"Yeah sure. I think. But it's kinda remote." I answered hesitantly.
"How about we go to Granville Island inste...."

Nice treatment. I prefer #5 and #14. The others I feel are too distant or the subjects position (facing direction) could have been more towards the camera.

@jdeverie: Thanks. We are document relationships through images. Therefore we generally aim to avoid the usual traditional "pose and look at the camera" portraits. The fluidity of our photography tends to lead to people not look towards the camera. They act more natural when I am in full cammo gear. This family specifically highlighted that they weren't too happy with their previous photographer because of that.
@boxman: thanks. It was rather cute too. I clambered over the fence and tittered on the cliff side for this. Arrghh... the things I do.
@bwield: Appreciate your comments! I thought of reducing the photos a bit but I'm too lazy. Yeah.
