The guy has sold 4 1D's in the past, all with different pictures. Maybe he was out of cameras to take pictures of his last two canons. As for Robert Body's site, boy that guy really likes to pose for camera, if he's in those pictures.

Interesting. Of course, by placing those pictures in his listing, he's implying that they are pictures of the actual item for auction. I'm sure some bidders are making decisions based on those images. It's certainly not ethical.

Someone should report it to ebay. It's not allowed. I've had my pics ripped off from time to time and reported it each time. One seller was suspended permanently.

If you/anybody suspects the listing is fraudulent a simple p h o n e c a l l to
eBay to report the listing(s) will get immediate intervention.

I tried to but it would only allow it if the pictures had been stolen from another auction (requires the listing #)

I sent a report to Ebay that the item was not his and it could be fraudulent
Thanks for the heads up Anil!
Mind u my 1D MIV IS really for sale....:-)
(cheap bump!)
And the fact he put up the serial # of my camera means it is definately fraudulent...

lol, he's even ripping off the shots showing other users serial numbers? This guy needs to be banned from FM. No scruples whatsoever. Not to mention lazy.

You should actually call ebay and make note that they are your photos, and use was not authorized. Other people have complained, but it's another thing when the person complaining is the actual owner of said content?

I cannot find a phone number to call
I sent him an EMail (explore30) and told him to remove it and also sent a report
Ebay does not have a phone # to call unless someone can point me to one
Dumbass even listed my serial number....

From the customer support link in the upper-right corner, choose contactebay-->buying-->rules&policies-->callus
It's just the "report item" option that doesn't have a phone# available (see below).
Their actual number is 866-907-3229, and ignore the bit about the passcode. Tell the CSR the issue and they're forward you to whatever department needs to deal with the complaint.

got it!
Just called them and they are submitting a report and removing the listing
Bam! Too bad it takes more than one such report to suspend an account. I guess the lesson here is that absolutely everyone should stick big, fat watermarks in the center of all of their photos
I've reported listings in the last, and normally it takes them 2-7 days to take any real action, if they ever do. Each one of those removed listings equals an account strike, and if you get too many within a period, the account is suspended. Pretty sure there needs to be at least 3.
