I think this will be that last of this series as I dont have any immediate plans to visit this place. These are from Friday. I was in a lot of pain from hurting my foot earlier in the week but the urge to get out was too great. I had originally cancelled the day of shooting because I didn't get to sleep til 5:30am from the pain but by noon I was DYING to get out of the house. A friend just bought a camera (G12) and wanted to join me. We got there shortly before sunset. Being in pain, and having difficulty getting around I took it easy and snapped only a few photos. I paid for my stupidity the next day!
Excellent as usual. They are all very pleasing to look at. I really like #1 and #3. The first one looks like it could make a fine igloo :P. I love #3 for its colors and patterns.
Thank you Jason and Ed. Oddly, I thought the 1st image would be the least favourable image yet was the object I was most excited about shooting. I wanted to get much closer but that would have probably lead to me drowning.
Scott, I've been thoroughly enjoying your images from here....I've never had a chance to tackle something similar, it was almost a 100 degrees here yesterday and everything is totally melted (including me!)
