p.1 #1 · First two months with the D600 - favorably impressed
Coming from the D700, I'll say that the D600 is slightly thicker but somehow feels less sturdy. It by no means feels flimsy though. High ISO is noticeably better. If I'm using auto-ISO I'm not afraid to push it past 6400 now.
Pretty sure I'm in the clear regarding the dust issue, so I can't comment on that.
One small thing I like is the new flash button. I always though the D700's was kind of cheap, considering you could accidentally flip it open when the camera wasn't even on.
Overall, I'm very happy with the switch, though I'm 100% sure I would've been happy staying with the D700 too. New product craze gets the best of us sometimes
Here are just a few shots I've taken over the past couple of months. No real theme

You know I'm not a cat person, and actually don't particularly like cat photos, but I thought that was a good capture. What ISO for the pooch? The colors look slightly warm.

400. I tried a cross-process curve but I didn't realize that all of the shots from that day were set to +1 EV...kind of embarrassing. I thought the shots were coming out overexposed but didn't bother checking for some reason

Nice shots, how do you find the focusing compared to your D700?
That's the interesting question I knew before these pics that the camera was capable to make beautiful pics from static subjects.
