One from a couple of weeks ago. Kids go from being kids to adults so fast....son now 20 and my daughter 16.

Great looking kids and nice shot. It seems to need a touch or levels or curves adjustment to really give it some punch. If you have photoshop try linear contrast in the curves dialog. Maybe even do it twice or manually adjust them.

Only have Aperture3 and Lightroom 4, though I'm pretty much a rookie at both. Thanks for the note...I agree, needs a little something.

More contrast and less exposure should do the trick
And maybe a slightly warmer color temp as well.
