It's been a long time since I posted anything on this forum. I had a chance to take my brother in law for a 3 day tip to death valley.
Here are some of my best that I came back with.
I wish I had the patience and talent to get close to some of the work I see here.
Driving to the Race track seemed to be more of a pain this time, and the road was in worst shape.
I am saddened by the amount of rocks missing form well established tracks and the attempt by some to fake the rock/tracks. I don't know if they are the real thing.
We had a storm roll in and experienced rain, hail, snow and wind. The playa stayed dry so, we did not leave any footprints.
Julius,
Your second image is not showing for me (it says "content protected by owner"). I really like these images - especially the third. I went to your zenfolio gallery and viewed the slideshow for Death Valley. Really nice! It gives a good sense of place. There are some really nice images in there. You should post here more often!

Thanks for the heads up. I think I fixed it.
I'll try to post more often. Job, wife and a 7 year old get in the way sometimes.
Julius, Excellent work. You had much better light than when I visited the racetrack. #3 is my favorite. I shot some of the exact same rocks in March 2011. It doesn't look like they have moved any since.
Lovely series. My favorites are #3 and #4. Thanks for sharing them!
I agree that the road to racetrack is in very bad shape. I just came back from DV and drove to Racetrack during the night. Tough ride.
There were a lot of rocks moved and fake tracks, a real shame. I am hoping to re-visit next year.
