I can remember the brace and bit days, along with slide rules, dial phones and car engines you could work on yourself. Ah, those were less complicated times. Now I wonder how I ever got along without my cell phone!

Sometimes the old technology way has advantages. You don't need battery's, and it is in a light convenient size - I still use one of these...though I own all the battery and electrical drills too.

Know what you mean. What used to be a good sense of level when drilling, has waned with the eyesight. Now its either a drill press or battery hand drill will a level on top!
