A couple of friends got married last summer, the groom the groomsmen insisted on riding their bikes.

So your son is a racer? That stuff looks really scary, even on television.

I know some people that do freestyle BMX...but they never get to the speeds of the racers. And so many other people on bikes to get tangled up in. Yikes.

He raced for many years, reaching the Pro ranks. His shoulder has paid the price, several times. Now he is a "social" racer. :-)

Ahh yes the shoulder.

I know how it is, but for me it was skateboarding. I'd guess over 100 dislocations on each side, 3 reconstructive surgeries and due for my 4th.

I wish him well on his bike and in life.
